I cannot believe all the babies are graduating

This year so many of my friends "babies" are graduating. I cannot believe how time has flown by. Claire, Henry & Jack are all heading to collages in New England. It seems like not so long ago we were passing Jack around at parties because he was the chubbiest baby EVER and your arms would ache if you held him too long! Henry was the funniest non crawler...he kinda did a little bottom hitching thing that I never saw before. And Claire was the most kind toddler to my then newborn, so sweet and loving. I am so proud of all 3 of these kiddos. All have done great things in their High School years, I cannot wait to see what they do in the years to come. Congratulations and Much Love & Happiness!

A Fabulous School Poster

I had the extreme pleasure of doing an artist in residence at a wonderful little school in Cape Elizabeth a while back. At this school (Pre, K & 1) I take drawings that the children do on a selected theme and use those drawings as inspiration, I make them into blocks for the children.

Can you stand how wonderful these are?

I love the simplicity and detail

I spend a morning with them printing on paper & fabric. It is such fun...the kiddos are such a joy to be with. The theme this year was "birds" . As you can see from the originals & block prints, they were fabulous. Just recently made a poster for them...so delightful!

I look forward to what fantastic work they will do next year!

Finished ABC'S

Basic Silk Screen at So Po Art Studio

Last night was the first in a series of 3 classes at So Po Art Studio in South Portland, ME. Here are a few images from last night.

New Skirts (and a top!)

I have been sewing as fast as I can to keep up with orders. Finally some skirts that are not already sold!

They will be available at my next show, which is in July. I will post more as I finish.
