Flora Home

Spring is most definately on its way. My very cute hubby reminded me by bringing home this beauty of a bouquet from my fav florist Flora Home. Stephanie (one of my most favorite people xo) makes some of the most wonderful,artful arrangements ever! I know I have said it before, but Spring is really trying very hard to reach us, hang in.

It really did feel like spring at times today. I had the great pleasure spending this lovely day showing some of our friends from Chile our beautiful rocky coast. Spring is coming and summer soon to follow, which makes me forget the cold snowy winter and reminds me why I live here in Maine. It is beautiful and there is no other place I 'd rather be in the summertime!

I Have been getting some good studio time in and it has been lovely. I am happily working on new children's dresses, and women's tops, spring cards, some new block prints and some new jewelry designs. It all feels good! I will post when I complete some pieces.

Some new work

I have been busy with other things lately and not spending much wanted time in my studio. I have been sketching on the fly and designing some new cards. Although I'd rather be designing some new clothing, I'll take what I can. This works til I can get to the sewing.

Spring Please

I LOVE a fresh blanket of snow, but I think this last storm on March 2, may have put me over the edge! I hope that this beautiful Pileated woodpecker, busy pecking in my yard today, is a sign of more to come. I am looking forward to new blooms and mud.
